Brussel Sprouts

We just LOVE brussels! This is our go to veggie to pair with any protein. The recipe is super easy and fail proof :)

  • brussel sprouts (about 2 lbs)
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • any flavor Nut Crumbs (seriously!)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper (if needed)

Start off by preheating your oven to 425 degrees. Get a large baking sheet and cover with foil (for easy clean up!)

Wash brussel sprouts really well with water and strain excess liquid out. Cut off the bottom (root part) of the sprout and slice the remaining portion in half long ways. Throw out the bottoms and place all the other goodness (loose leaves and all) on the baking sheet.

Slice up bacon into small chunks and spread evenly on the sprouts. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle a generous layer of Nut Crumbs on top. Seriously...all four flavors are so yummy on this dish!

Place in the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Take out the brussels and turn over with tongs or spatula. Cook for another 15 minutes or until brown and crispy on the edges. All the loose leaves get nice and crispy which is the ultimate deliciousness as well!

Serve with your favorite protein or just dig in as is!

It's also delicious to drizzle with a little balsamic glaze after cooking as well!
